Jasmine Iverson, Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associates (LCSWA), Ed.S, specializes in working with adolescents and adults in Life Transitions, Finding Purpose, Anxiety, Stress Management, Work-Life Balance, Career Counseling, Mindfulness, Women Issues, Young Adulthood, Parenting, Self – Esteem, Communication Issues, Coping Skills, Identity Issues, Grief, and Depression including Postpartum. She is a native of Greensboro, NC. She received her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and B.A. in Psychology from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2004 concentrating in direct practice with children, adults, and family systems. She received her Master of Social Work (MSW) in 2008 and her Education Specialist Degree in 2011 both at The University of Georgia, School of Social Work and Professional School of Counseling.
She is currently an Associate level Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of North Carolina. She is trained in a myriad of therapeutic modalities to support her Wellness Partners including Cognitive Behavioral and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Trauma-Focused Models, Solution Focused Therapy, and Culturally Responsive-Sensitive therapeutic approaches.
Jasmine has worked in a variety of professional environments including intervening for children and adults therapeutically in community mental health, and foster care with The Department of Family and Children Services. She has spent the last several years employed with the public-school system as a School Social Worker and Counselor. She is committed to working with individuals to define and gain personal success.
When Jasmine is not serving her Wellness Partners, she is enjoying time with her son, trying new recipes, watching movies, traveling, taking nature walks, and pursuing peace.
