Jennifer is licensed in North Carolina, holding a Master’s degree in Mental Health and Substance Abuse from Clark Atlanta University. With over a decade of experience working with children and families, Jennifer is dedicated to promoting mental health and emotional well-being. As an active mom, Jennifer is particularly passionate about working with children/teens with ADHD, offering non-medicated options to support their mental health. Her extensive experience includes helping adults, teens, and families navigate crises in various settings such as outpatient clinics, community mental health programs, residential treatment facilities, and day treatment centers. Jennifer provides individual, group, and family therapy, always focusing on empowering her clients to build self-confidence and self-compassion.
Jennifer is deeply committed to helping others heal from past trauma and embrace life with a healthy perspective. She motivates individuals at all stages of development to persist through their most challenging mental, emotional, and spiritual times. Her main areas of focus include enhancing self-esteem, achieving work-life balance, managing anxiety, coping with grief and loss, and navigating life transitions. Jennifer collaborates with community partners to support vulnerable populations and is passionate about providing trauma-informed care and promoting mental wellness education.
Jennifer’s love for dance therapy shines through in her practice. She believes in the power of movement to help clients express emotions and find joy. By integrating dance therapy into her sessions, she creates a dynamic and engaging therapeutic experience, helping clients connect with their bodies and emotions in meaningful ways.
Outside of her work in mental health, Jennifer volunteers at homeless shelters and holds a certification in corporate-level coaching, allowing her to support individuals in various professional settings. Her commitment to mental health and well-being is evident in every aspect of her work and community involvement.
